As a lifelong Coloradan, married mother of two, and successful, multi-genre Denver photographer, I’ve made a name for myself by providing my clients with images that are honest, emotional, and full of life.  I am drawn to the raw, everyday beauty of humans and the human condition, and I strive to convey this sentiment in all of the work that I produce.

I’ve been fortunate enough to work with so many lovely people over the years and photograph them and their families as they grow older (I’m seeing newborns I once photographed now posing for their senior pictures). It’s an honor to document the lives of both past and new clients, bearing witness with my camera to so many special moments and mile markers along the road of life.

 My bliss is in working with people who are down for playing, laughing and hanging out on the porch, in the backyard, or at a park somewhere with their loves ones and families… photographing a newly engaged (or long partnered) couple as they prepare and eat a favorite meal together… or capturing the senior pictures or headshots of interesting, multi-faceted humans who are excited about chasing after their dreams and changing the world. I’m down for all of this and more.

Family

I have always approached family photography in a way that emphasizes the natural and organic while minimizing stiff and awkward poses. I’m an expert at getting people to relax and enjoy themselves, putting them in an optimal position for a fun experience and natural-looking family photos. Newborn & Baby Photography

 I suggest doing an in-home newborn photography session within a week or two after you and your baby have returned home from the hospital and have had some time to adjust to everyone’s new reality. You might pick out a couple of outfits or swaddlers that you love.  Or maybe there’s an heirloom that you want to include in some of the images.   Other than that, there’s not much you need to do to prepare.  Your baby will guide the session.   VIEW PORTFOLIO

Maternity Photos

Like newborn photos, maternity photos are one of those life events that just have to be documented. And because the opportunities to do them are (usually) few and far between, you will want to make sure you’re comfortable with your photographer, her approach and style. I recommend scheduling this session to happen between 35 and 38 weeks of your pregnancy.   VIEW PORTFOLIO

Senior Pictures

Senior pictures mark another big life moment and I love capturing these young adults in a style and manner that reflect unique personalities. Headshots / Personal Branding Photos

Headshots has slowly morphed over the years into personal branding photos that have been adopted by many working pros . With so many websites requiring or encouraging images for membership (plus the need for sharp, professional photos for branded websites), professional portraits are a big step up over amateur photos taken on one’s smart phone. Engagement Photography

I love capturing a couple’s love, passion, and devotion to each other via engagement photography. These sorts of shoots can really be a lot of fun and a chance for the couple to relax, let their hair down, and get comfortable being in front of the camera. Elopements / Micro Weddings

I offer my Denver micro wedding and elopement photography services exclusively to couples being wed in the Denver and Front Range region of Colorado. I love very small weddings and elopements where the vibe is more laid back, intimate, and often more authentic than the bigger and more elaborate affairs that I used to photograph.  VIEW PORTFOLIO
