Kelly and Aaron are engaged!
Kelly and Aaron are sweethearts! They really took one for the team with these engagement pics! First, we had to reschedule our original shoot as it was pouring rain on memorial day, and when we did reschedule, Kelly sat on a cactus, and I made them hike all over the place! I thought it was worth it (but I’m not the one with prickers in my butt or sore feet)!
Hope you guys had as much fun taking these pictures, as you look like you did in the images…! Thanks for being so cool!
As much as we would have loved a sunny evening, these green ominous clouds were even better! I love the moodiness of this image.
Kelly and Aaron both have the most amazing eyes! I really got up close on this one with my 50mm to capture them… Hmmmmm I wonder when they have kids if they will have Kelly’s chocolate brown eyes or those clear blue water eyes of Aaron’s….
Beautiful!!!! I love #9. love the whole sandwich teqnuqie, blurry foreground, sharp subject, blurry background. I’m doing way too much urban stuff, I think I need to incorporate some more nature……
Yeah, what lens you using for that “sandwich technique”? And have you ever told us what camera you use? 5D? I don’t suppose your clients are interested, but we are! Great stuff as always. I’m convinced that you cut out your subjects, blur the background and paste them back in to get that amazing 3-D look of yours. Jebus!
Scott, it is indeed the magical D3, yo. Julie is a Nikon lady. And why am I answering her questions for her? Wait a minute…how did I get here, and why am I wearing this sombrero?
I agree with the second to last photograph, though. TOTALLY awesome…in fact nearing the awesome-ness of burning out my retinas.
Nikon? Whew. I guess I can stop idolizing you now, Julie. Ark. This should free up a lot of my time. Thanks for the skinny, Andrea. (Now tell us what lens Julie used, and settings, for that cool depth of field shot.)
