We’re having one of those infamous false springs along the Front Range that denizens of Colorado are all to familiar with. You know, when it’s sunny and near 70 degrees in late February / early March and you’re wearing shorts and tank tops outside where a few weeks ago it was near zero and snowing.

But it’s got me excited to start working outside on the regular again when real spring arrives next month. And one of my favorite genres of portrait photography for warm weather are headshots and personal branding photography. These sessions can be lean and mean with a mini session that just covers the basics or a full headshots + personal branding shoot that offers a much more visually compelling (and comprehensive) story of said client.

There are so many wonderful locations to do this sort of photography in the Denver and Boulder metro area that it’s easy find a spot that is convenient, multi-faceted, and truly eye catching (especially with that late day golden hour).
